to grassroots horsemanship. There is a little bit of everything at our farm at different times of the year, including farrier work; colt and horse education; rescue and rehabilitation; and re-education and re-purposing for pre-trained, companion, or ill-trained horses.

Blue Star Equine strives to match horses and people for the most harmonious partnerships. All have unique histories and are looking for their next career.

Hauling is generally always available, and I have several haulers I've trusted and would be happy to recommend. Follow-up farrier care is always available. Barefoot and rehabilitative work is my specialty, but I'm happy to assist with shoeing needs (or refer you to someone who can help further).

Some horses may be listed on behalf of a private owner as a consignment (a service available for free, though industry standard on successful consignments is generally 5-10% of sale price). Some postings are of everyday goings-on or updates on projects or family horses. Leases, trials, and sales will be conducted as private treaty agreements unless otherwise marked.
