Duchess is a 5 year old 3/4 friesian and 1/4 percheron mare for sale. She is under saddle and doing really well, but she definitely needs at least an intermediate rider. She is 16 hands, jet black, and has a forelock to her nose, a mane to the shoulder, and a tail that drags the ground and it maintains itself, so don't worry about obsessive grooming! She would make a gorgeous driving prospect and she has been lightly jumped. She has a lot of bone without being drafty so you could take her into some low level eventing classes as well. She is offered for sale with or without a breeding to a pure friesian in the spring. The stallion offered for the breeding can be seen at avalanche friesians and his name is Hedzer.
