~1990 14.3H Grey Arabian mare

Harriet and Greg, 3/27/2011

Harriet is around 14'3HH. She is early to mid 20s and a little further along in her training than Izzy, but rusty as she also hasn't been saddled and ridden in years. No papers though could possibly be reinstated with blood typing? - they were lost as the result of the estate owner's death. She rides and would be a perfect trail horse; very quiet, not spooky or jumpy AT ALL, and not motivated for speed without a little encouragement. She would be ideal for someone who truly just wants to amble around the trails, but with a little polish could be worked into maybe a schooling horse. Knows a little neckreining, good stop, no backup (yet!); stands quietly for saddling, bridling, farrier, etc. 3/27/2011 was probably her first ride in many years. Feet and worming meticulously maintained; she has lived on this farm for most of her life so she will need a new coggins as desired.

She will need a home that can provide some senior feed as pasture alone is no longer sufficient to keep her in good weight; we are in the process of building her up now as the winter was hard on her.

Harriet has a sweet, "follow you everywhere" personality and LOVES attention. She and her daughter Izzy (pictured below) are the meet and greet team at the farm and get along with everyone, from newborns to antiques. Email for more info; located in Calera, AL.

Below are pictures and video of Harriet's daughter Izzy, who is pretty much her twin.  Izzy has been sold.
